The most convincing use test examples usually show that ICAAP outputs influenced one or more of the following:

• buffer calibration
• concentration strategy
• new business constraints
• dividend posture
• recovery planning triggers

Evidence matters

Institutions benefit from maintaining a clean evidence pack that includes committee extracts, presentation materials, assumption logs, and validation notes. That reduces scramble during audit or supervisory examination.
